Bloody air con
Here's a quandry , My V70 has air con ( WOO HOO ! ) works bloody well ( more woo hoo ) , but since the cooler weather has appeared I now require a touch of heat first thing in the morning . As the engine warms the heat wafts into the cabin , but on a long run the heats vanishes & the temperature continues to fall . the only cure is to turn off air con & allow it to do what i can to heat up .
So I would love a fellow clever dick to enlighten me as to where the fault lies . I did have the system purged & refilled in the hot weather , no leaks , correct oil / gas / vacuum held & no pressure leaks . Plugging in my whizzo Strap-on device shows no codes , asked a nice air con guy , his response " buggered if I know " Ooh , meant to say never loses any water / overheats / makes any strange noises The floor is now your people , bring it on !

Sounds like a faulty thermostat.

Check the sensor on the back of the dash part where the little vent is. Vacuum it out as I think they can clog up with dust and will not show a fault, just crap control on htg and cooling.
