C30 Lights
Good day everyone
*mini vent* In the month that I have owned my C30 I have forgotten my lights on once (that required a jump the day after) and again yesterday but luckily noticed it before it was too late... Would it be possible for Volvo to program the poorly thought through light management to go off when the ignition is turned off or at least give you a warning beep? It baffles me that they would not have this programmed on the 'non-auto light' models. All my previous cars had this so it's a bit of a nuisance for me to remember to check this now constantly. |

This is such a pain, I've left my lights on so many times – thankfully for not long though!
I now put hair scrunchie type thing on the door handle when I turn my lights from the regular dipped beam to side lights (I do this whenever I drive in daylight) so I don't forget to turn them back 'off'... a tip I found on here IIRC!

Just drive around with day time running lights, most cars have them on now as standard, so you don't look daft

I usually drive in medium light conditions to and from work so I have always just used the 'foglights' and thus had the light on problem. I feel pretty dumb now... but alas, crisis averted! |
