Default What suspension have i got

Morning

I have just purchased a 2009 Volvo V70 2.0d R design, on the MOT the N/S shock is leaking slightly(not enough for a fail). On looking for replacement units i am stumped, looking at the suspension it looking like i have Nivomats however i am struggling to find any replacement nivomats for my model year. Is there any easy way to find out what suspension i have? I have looked at the rear suspension but cant find any labels or anything on the shocks. The suspension code fron the produce code on the VIN is 49 if this helps.

Most shock absorbers have two tubes - the smaller diameter one slides into the larger one as it operates so the "guts" are shielded from dirt and stones etc.

On Nivomats there is usually one tube and rubber bellows - like this:

Replaced mine 18 months ago on a 2009 D5 R Design to find they were self levelling and the part no was V31255534. Be warned though, even with discount from FRF they came to £800 for the pair.

I think you can replace them with normal ones.
