Does this have an amp in the boot, Alex? If so I'm curious to know 1.) what cables are going back to it and 2.) what's the difference between the S40 amp and the V40 amp you sent me previously. I'm guessing the V40 amp has the extra socket for the subwoofer...?

Here are the photos Wayne. It seems that previous owner has used 5W bulbs and the have burned the plastic a bit. One of them seems to have a fix or something of the sort with a soldering iron or something. One of the lenses has a tiny crack but it is barely visible and the lens is still waterproof. See the photos and let me know what you think. It is not noticeable when they are fitted on the car and it is quite hard to capture the tiny imperfections with the camera. See how it goes and if you are not happy, you can send it back and I will refund you

Similar question so will answer for both. First of all, checked and there is no bloody amplifier on the car......

. It does have the bigger rear speakers and that is it.

However, if it helps, I did this upgrade on our own S40. It already had the bigger rear speakers and I got a donor car with an S40 amplifier. All you need is to wire the amplifier to a prewired socket at the rear passengers seats. You will need to remove the kickplate and the leather seat bolster and lift the carpet. You should be able to see the power connector. To get the signal to the amplifier, you will need the amplifier AUX cable from the front of the car. Then, you will need the extra wiring from the Amp to the two rear speakers. I removed all of this from a previous donor car and have successfully fitted it on. The best part is that the original connections to the rear speakers are now redundant, but they can be used to plug in two more speakers in the car. My plan is to install a V40 amp and Sub in the boot and then use the other spare connection for a centre speaker in the dashboard......

I am afraid that would be 3rd dibs Alex.... One more person has already asked for them too. I will have to check the heated elements parts to make sure they work too
