Default Trivial Question about Load Area Cover Handle

The load area cover has a cut out handle to pull it back when covering the load area. The handle has a flap which you can see in the first picture, being held in place with my fingers to show how it covers the aperture. However it actually hags down and won't stay in place as you can see from the second picture taken from below. I was wondering, is there something missing from my handle that stops in latching in place. How do other owners' load cover handle aperture flaps behave? This is hardly a vital issue but it perplexes me as I cannot see how the aperture flap could be held in place. Can anyone advise

I'll see if I can bodge a spring into the flap to hold it in place. Thanks for the advice.

My 2015 V60 has a very similar looking handle flap. There's a tiny spiral spring round the right hand pivot.

While trivial, this is a cautionary tale. The flap just clicks into place and can be accidentally dislodged. If that happens, it seems that the tiny spring can separate from the flap and if you don't know that it exists you can replace the flap without it and then it doesn't close. Not earth shaking but irritating.
