Hi Bob, should fit, came out of my 87, D reg glt 240 estate.
I can’t work out how to post pics on here but think I can send them to you by email if you let me have your address.
Can’t reply by private message, don’t have enough posts and would probably struggle with the tech anyway!
My email is:-chrisswood1@aol.com. Mobile 07973 633281.
ps I bought this cover from the main dealer in 1989 when bought my 240 and fitted it myself, hence why I’ve got the original instructions and fittings.

For anyone wanting 240 load cover instructions there appears to be a pdf here:

https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/attac...8&d=1508684541

Apologies that does not appear to work now.

I have the pdf on my PC. If any forum member wants it please send me your email address and I will try to send it to you.

Sorry Woodsie if this is high jacking your thread. Just trying to help.

I wonder if pdf can be uploaded to the forum for furure downlaods??? There must be loads of useful pdf on forum members' computers.

Thanks Stephen , however because I bought and fitted the load cover back in 1989, I’d still got the original instructions which I’ve passed on to the new owner.
All these parts, load cover, wheel, and box of parts are now SOLD.

Message for Bob really

Like Stephen I have a copy of the fitting instructions as I've fairly recently fitted a load cover to my car - I wrote up some more details about it on the forum - earlier this year if I recall. Nice touch to have on an estate

I've come to this one a bit late, Woodsie.

Do you still have the tailgate badges: Volvo, 240 and GLT? Mine were stolen about ten years ago.

Thanks.

David.
