Strange noise

Noted a strange noise the other day ( even Mrs did..) in that after a 35min run on motorway at 70 and hitting A roads we could hear a gurgling, actually more like when a kettle boils somewhere behind the dash. No warning lights, no issues with heating. Done bit if local driving and no noise/sound.
Then did a return trip today incl 20min A followed by 35 on motorway ( no siund/issues) upon return we had the noise again after the motorway run.
Car mot’d n serviced in Sept. done about 1000mikes since. Car drives great overall.
Any suggestions?

Travelling fast??? were you approaching the sound barrier??? controls becoming unresponsive?????

Classic case of fuel getting too hot and ready to explode....

Sorry, but Quantum Leap was a TV favourite of mine and you issue is straight from one of their story lines.....and in a time of little cheer it made me smile.

dont worry my v70 dose the same and all ways has in my ownership iv had my car 5yrs never been a problem i could trace
