Default Heater on permanent

Hi I have a 2000 volvo v70 t5 and have a problem with my fan heaters,they wont turn off at all even when the keys are in my pocket,why is this I'm fed up of disconnecting the battery every time I stop the car.

Do they come back on when you come back to the car and connect then up when the engine is cold? They normally turn off after a short while is what im getting at

When you say 'fan heaters' are we talking about the engine fan or cabin heating/aircon fan?

my t5r did the samething to me and it was the interior fan ECC moduel. there is a resistor in the unit that fails and keeps the fan running at full speed even with the keys out.

As above. It'd be nice though, wouldn't it, if the Op replied with an actual answer to this question, to clarify exactly what he means? But no, nothing since the original query. Sometimes I wonder why people post on here.....

You need to realise, not everyone's t'interweb habits are the same, could be one of number of reasons as to why they've not returned.

OK, I would have said heater fans but I didn't confuse them with coolant/radiator fans. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.
