Thanks Luke, when i got her i could see where she had chewed the previous owners house - when i say "chewed" she had physically eaten bricks from around the front door!
Usually chewing is a sign of boredom and a lack of chews in general, i got her a buffalo horn and plenty of other chewy things, toys and other stuff and the chewing of the house just didn't happen with me. She did however finish off an armchair that two other dogs had started on, both older dogs and not prone to chewing so they must have smelled something in it and were trying to get it. What they smelled i'll never know !

Finally got a chance to measure my radiator! Are you sitting down?
It's 70cm x 51cm x 5cm (or 6cm depending whether you go across the end caps or the core of the rad) so it's safe to say, it's a fair bit bigger than the one you have for sale! There's a bit of life left in mine but will need renewing/replacing at some point in the not too distant future.

Maybe whatever the chair was treated with made it interesting?
I've got her a treated bit of wood she loves chewing whixhbjas stopped her chewing the wall, I need to get her something tasty to chew though. Hopefully your radiator holds on for a while longer until you can get a replacement Dave, have you tried the Swedish aftermarket company I think they are called D088? |

No idea on the chair Luke, i got a secondhand 3-piece suite and the chair was part of it. My original dog that i had about 12 years at that point suddenly started trying to dig his way into the chair and started chewing it, having never previously chewed anything he wasn't meant to, a friends Rottie (one of the rotties that got me into them) did the same and my Rottie finished the job. She's never chewed anything else since (except things she's meant to) so whatever it was it was peculiar to that chair. I suspect something had been spilled on it making it smell appetising, perhaps Ouzo or Pernod, both are aniseed based and dogs love aniseed!
Try your pooch on a buffalo horn Luke, they're fairly cheap and last for ages : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hollings-...s/401889979554 The radiator isn't urgent at the moment, it was just something i noticed a few weeks back so i've got plenty of advanced warning. I'll keep looking and check the price/availablility/size of a 960 rad, don't even mind if it's a manual one as i can fit an external ATF cooler like i did on my Sterling.
