It doesn't appear to be so much a cracking of the rubber as a cracking of an outer plastic cover along the lower edge of the windscreen, revealing something white underneath. I can't post a picture, because my picture doesn't have an URL. I'm wondering whether it is merely unsightly or whether it could be a problem.
