3 Years Free Servicing - Paperwork
With regards to the 3 years free servicing on the XC60. Does anyone have paperwork for this? Vouchers or proof otherwise that you are eligible. I received nothing and the dealer says there is nothing to do.

I have to say it had never crossed my mind. I guess I trust my dealer and assume it will be " on the system ".

My new xc90 is being delivered tomorrow morning and I've bought the £300 servicing deal. I'll keep an eye out for paperwork (if any) and let you know what I get.

Hi,
Received the paperwork for this, about 2 weeks after we took delivery of an XC60. All it was, was a single sheet of paper saying that we qualified for the free servicing. Colin |

Likewise, didn't even think about it. I'm sure they will have the record when it comes to service time, especially as I will be going back to the place that I bought it from.

You should get a letter/certificate; mine came after several weeks.
As VCUK are not the most helpful when push comes to shove, I would suggest chasing them up if the certificate does not arrive. Even if you have a receipt from the dealer, VCUK might be likely to "argue the toss". I am sure they would eventually pay up, but there could be a lot of hassle till they do. |

I questioned my dealer about this and the replied I got was “no paper work it is all on the Volvo UK computer system registered with this car”. However, it is mentioned on the sales invoice as “Service Pack” but I printed off the internet details about the 3 year free servicing offer in case of problems in the future and what was entitled in this offer.
A week and a half after taking delivery of the new car I received a letter in the post which included a certificate of entitlement of the 3 year free servicing so I am assuming most new owners should get this in the post or i suggest you should chase Volvo UK direct. |

Sat Nav Updates
Whilst on the subject of paperwork have any of you that have had your car delivered (still waiting ....) had confirmation of Sat Nav Updates included within the delivery pack?
I notice that one the website it says that you get 2 free updates, (see page 3 of attached pdf), yet when questioning my dealer he says that he knows nothing of this and has not been able to get any confirmation Iain Last edited by wimorrison; Oct 16th, 2010 at 20:22. |
