S40 cd changer

Hi All

Just bought S40 a month or so ago and notice that it can make use of a cd changer... Can you tell me an idea of how much they would be second hand and where they get fitted in the car, lol

Model S40 XS, 1783cc - 1999 (V plate)

You can get them on eBay every now and then. They normally go from between £30 and £100.

You could also contact some of the chaps on eBay who are breaking Volvo 850, S/V70 and S/V40 models. The head units and CD changers are similar in these models. Be sure to get the wiring harness with the unit.

In the S40 you can probably place it in the boot space behind the N/S wheel arch, or, I've also seen them placed under the rear parcel shelf between the two speakers.
