My tested and working Dice are £100 delivered and if your Vida software installation is correct, my Dice will just plug and play.
I can also offer computer assistance remotely should further help be needed.
Let me know here if you want one and I'll forward payment details.

I've had my Dice running for a few years without any problems, then out of the blue it would not connect....device not recognised...then it would connect but drop out when in use and so on.......Tried the firmware update and re-installation of Vida but neither worked. Nothing to lose, so took it apart.

I could not see anything obvious, but as luck would have I had a USB cable the same....so I replaced the cable and all is working as it should. I've only used it 4 times since but without issue........time will tell.

Just a thought...............

Hi All - Update

Removed IE11 and went back to my orginal version, which was IE 8.

Still no luck.

Will attempt to install IE 9, to see if that makes a difference or remove any Netframework Updates, but i belevied that 3.5.1 was the best, as i have read the v4 had some problems

After this, a fresh installation may be best

Included the Programmes and IE for reference

Hi when you last tried to update the dice you say that the computer could now see the dice, so what did the dice diagnostic program show,
was it showing the voltage and what firmware is installed, and what about when you run the led test from the program,

Hi All

Spent about an hour trying to install IE9, but to no avail. Microsoft do not appear to like users going back to old unsupported versions.

Shut down and noticed an update.

Restatred and IE10 had been downloaded. Checked VIDA was operational, of which it was.

Went to the DICE and came up with the "Communucation Error" and using the DICE diagnositic, it still did not come up with Devices present, apart from DICE -206751 and "This device cannot start (Code 10)"

To clarify my starting procedure, is get VIDA running, under ADmin, Wait to the Car update appears, Plug in OBC socket, then USB into computer, then switch Key to Position 2.
PDF attached of Dice Screen dumps.

IF VIDA is runing perfectly, it points to the DICE unit at fault, so must establish wheter this is the case or not???

I usually do a clean install before first installing VIDA it just works first go rather than going arounf the houses. Also I'm 99% certain you need Java installed for VIDA software to work properly
