Question "Flappy" noise

Hi All

I have a 1.6D V50 and have noticed when doing over 55-60 a noise which appears from the centre top dash which is similar to some thing flapping in the wind - which I guess perhaps it is - it only does it having got up to this speed and fades again when I slow down. Cannot find anything loose anywhere. Any ideas prior to asking the workshop?

Cheers

BM

Is it a wiper flapping / hitting the windscreen?

Thanks for this but i don't think so as the sound remains if wipers are used.

Hi,
Try altering the heater vent controls and see if this changes anything, it could be the recirculate flap that's causing the noise. I had a similar noise on a 240 and the cables to control the flaps had to be adjusted. Bob.
