Volvo 740 Turbo intercooler

I know, I know I’ve posted quite a lot about this and I would love a 740 Turbo myself but this one is too far away from me to pick up, and it broke my heart to tell the family that I couldn’t have it. If you want info I’ll reply straight away and bear in mind this car is a project and will need trailering.

The car has had 2 owners from new and the current owner has owned the car for 25 years. The car is a Manual with overdrive with 146,000 miles in the clock, but no rust. THE CAR IS A PROJECT and will need to be trailered away.
The problems:
The rear crack oil seal has gone which is leaking oil onto the clutch, causing it to slip.
One of the indicators is faulty, which blows the fuse every time you use one fo the indicators.
The carpet is damp from a leaky sunroof, not the floor and sills are fine, I’ll post some pictures.
The pant is faded.
It’s been stood for 2 years so rubbers and brakes etc will be tired, but been stored in a garage.
This is why the car is cheap at £500, and needs to be saved.

Same colour and reg (E) as the one I had in 1988, if you want it right you might deep pockets and be quite resourceful.

I originally looked at the car a few weeks ago, I could’ve restored it but had no way of getting it back. My car the D70 couldn’t tow it as it’s too heavy, so that’s why I’m looking for one but the owner now wants to sell it.

Saloons getting super rare now, whereabouts is it roughly? Agree this needs to be saved by someone!

The car is located in Uckfield close to Brighton, I’d love this car but without a MOT or even drive able with the clutch slipping there’s no way of getting it back as I live in Yorkshire. It would cost me around £350-450.

Pretty sure this has already sold. There was a post on the 700/900 uk group on facebook about 2 months ago.

OOO I'll push it back if I have too! lol I suspect its gone though. Does anyone know the name of the group? I've found one on FB that is 700/900 but doesn't look like a UK one.
