Default Are Volvo remote key batteries the best in the World?

I've been using my remote every day for 9 years without changing the battery and it's possibly still the original at 13 years old I don't know but these things must be amazing.

I can still 'plip' the car from right across a large Car Park too.

2010 Citroen C4 1.6 HDi (keep changing that oil)

I've had mine coming upto 8 years now and I've not changed them either. Like you, no idea if they are the originals.

Still got a decent range of them too, very handy in big car parks when you cant remember where you parked so set off the panic alarm

Before my Volvo I had a Nissan for 19 years from new... only replaced the battery once: that was after the remote went through the washing machine
