Probably comparable to the dealer posting it?

the link in this thread here is for £4.95 its cheaper for me personally even driving to get it from my nearest dealer, not suitable for everyone I appreciate, but if your going past a dealer anyway its worth a phone call or pop in to see if they have any, can buy 3 and, sell 2 on eBay and easily cover that £4.50 worth of fuel

Don't pay anyone for one of these , It is a free fix at your dealer ..
It has to be fitted properly too , a primer is used so that the adhesive bonds properly , also the mount must then be heated up this weather with a warm air gun .

I paid a couple of quid for mine from Volvo. Don't know about 'special primer' or heating things up. I just cleaned the old residue off and stuck the new one on. It was still on two years later when I sold the car

£1.50 at my dealer, I baught 2 and keep the spare in the glove box.
Clean the residue with meths let, it dry and fit the new.
Pressure washers at car washes seem to batter them and cause the badge to start lifting, the blue bit then starts to break up.

Paul.

Anyone know where I can get a replacement without paying a ridiculous £30 from Volvo. There must be people making replacements at sensible prices.
Volvo put the emblem there to advertise a product they are proud of so it stands to reason that they will replace the emblem at cost price or sell it very cheaply as they want you to have the badge proudly showing and advertising there product.

My latest acquisition has the Volvo logo missing from the front grille. I will be subconsciously looking at every Volvo now to see many have the logo missing.
