Default V40 D3 RDesign - Fuel Indicator and Key

Hi, 2 months into my V40 ownershipand just a couple of questions I can't get from the handbook...

XXX miles remaining in the tank - do other D3s seem to go down in 5s? And sometimes 15s?

And on a different note...

What happens if you take the key out of the ignition (without pressing start/stop button) whilst driving it? It tried it stationary and it kept running - everything seemd normal. Only ask as my keys jangle annoyingly on the dashboard! #littlethings!

Thanks in advance

Can't really comment on the fuel indicator - though it does obvious change with different driving conditions and driver input.

As for the key - you can take it out at any time when the car is running. nothing will happen.
If it is a manual car and you happen to stall it then of course the key needs to be reinserted unless you have the PCC key option

That's not the case in the S60 - car will restart without the key in. Might be the same on the V40 too
