XC 60 Active main beams now not working
Hey All
I've had my XC 60 for 6 weeks now and love it getting used to all the equipment it has. I have 1 problem and that is up until yesterday I was able to when I started the car set the main beams to active so I had the white main beam indicator with a A in it up on the dashboard then when I was in roads where I need main beams on they automatically came on and even shaded. Last night this was fine when I went out when I did this on my return journey all I got was the main beams coming on and the blue main beam indicator coming on. I double checked that all was set in setting for Active main beams and it was but each time i went to set the main beams to on rather than going into the active mode it was only putting the main beams on. The active bending is still working as is the cornering lights No messages on the dashboard apart from we are getting low on washer fluid but surely this cant be the problem ? or can it lol anyone got any ideas cheers

I’m going to say the obvious, because I have no idea, put some water in the bottle and see. I’m never failed to be amazed by what connects to what and does what.

It would be a good idea to clean the windscreen, especially the area around the sensors as if they are dirty this would interfere with the AHB system, which would lead back to your original question about the low washer fluid.

I sometimes have a problem where my AHB, Lane Departure Warning and Road Sign Display all stop working but I do get a warning message about the AHB saying something like "Not available and to do it manually".
This occurs mainly when I've driven the car then stopped for a brief period such as stopping for fuel etc. It's generally OK the next journey. Presuming it's the same camera for all 3 functions but weird you're not getting the message. Is your headlight switch set to Auto?

I probably need to take the car for a service so will have it checked out.
