Question 960 Central Locking system asleep

Hi, has anyone else had this problem where you come out to your 960 on a cold day, press the key fob to open the door and nothing happens, if you then wait very patiently after what feels like an eternity the lights flash and the central locking system opens all the doors, if however you inadvertently pressed the key fob twice in the first place then it will promptly lock the doors again, then you have to go through the same process all over again, it’s just as if the security system is asleep, and it never seems to happen on a warm or hot day??? Any ideas please
