Default MAHA dyno

Had a run at my local dyno centre. They have a MAHA dyno which I am told provides realistic numbers as used in house by Porsche and BMW. Made 284hp and 410nm running a shemtek map on a billet 18t with straight housing, 3 inch dp and 200cell cat with a 2.5inch cat back. Not done intercooler yet. Spoke to Shem and will be aiming to improve on this. He seemed optimistic about it. Struggling to get my head around how some people are running way above 300hp on 18t turbos. What are they doing that I'm not? Turbo is boosting at 18psi, hard to see how another 50hp could be achieved reliably like some people seem to claim is possible on other forums. Interested to hear some thoughts.

assuming you are running a 4.4 if not get that sorted

get rid of the sports cat, get jack to make you a full system 3" turbo back system

Inter-cooler,

RIP kit

Manifold

injectors

Different MAF

People make me laugh with the claimed figures of chasing figures on here, none of them have ever seen a dyno but claim to be well over 300bhp

Mine is heavily modified, going to Tim Williams to be mapped soon, id be happy with 300 bhp
