Please read!!
Over the past months there has been an upsurge of posts that are commercial advertising on the forum. The forum is not a place for this, but an initial mention (we are… and at…) will be allowed, but the levels recently seen are not to continue. There is however, one proviso, that the company subscribes to our commercial advertising policy, that is, a banner/page space has been purchased and the banner placed on one of the web pages.
The company will then be allowed to post new or improved products. However, this leads to another issue that has been increasing. Other commercial organisations are not to pass adverse comments on these products. Also, claims about what the product is capable of must not be made in the post; a referral place must be made for other viewers to get more information. For example: “Now in stock, a new left threaded waffle valve with improved efficiency. More info at www.waffle.org or call 0800-xxx xxx.” For strict compliance. _____________________________ Robert Isaac Volvo Owners Club Director and Web Admin |
