Default 850 2.5 estate 1995/6 boot door plastic trim

The plastic trim across the tailgate of the estate has come away from the window revealing the innards of the rear brake light which can be distracting at night - the light refelcts in the rear window and can be seen by the driver in the mirror. The whole piece of trim seems to have come away, not just the section over the light. How can I secure it properly in place?

The plastic lugs in the trim will have broken.
The fault is so common Volvo to a repair kit, you will also need new fixings (5) to attach the trim back to the door.

Thanks very much for the advice - I'm glad my car is not the only one to suffer with this!

mine has suffered the same issue for a while now - I took the trouble to replace all the plastic clips that hold it on but the panel itself is broken (where the clips attach ...)

Does the repair kit take care of this too ? What does the repair kit comprise of ?
