Window Tinting experiences...
There was a useful thread in the spring re having windows tinted, search doesnt bring it up however. Im looking for feedback from those who have done it, details of a decent fitter in the West Midlands area, any idea of cost for a V70 and finally do those with suffer any additional PLOD type attention?
Guidance much appreciated, Ian Curnow ---------------------------- V70 99 TDI |

RE: Window Tinting experiences...
hello,
i had my 850 estate done earlier this year and it cost 280 and that was just outside watford. doesn't seem to have attracted the police anymore. i went for the darkest legal shade on the 2 front windows then a shade darker on the others, this gives the impression that the front 2 a darker. hope this helps. |

RE: Window Tinting experiences...
Thanks, really can see myself going for this, black V70 with black windows... Nice. Any problems with trim replacement/rattles etc or did they get it all back properly?

Hi mate,
There is a place called Armour Glazing Film. They are just off the M5 J2. I have had mine done. I would recommend him highly. Mine cost £200, which I thought was a good price. And yes he puts the panels back together without a problem. Here is his number: 0121 544 4884 ask for Dave. Say you know 'Roy from Worcester.' Good luck Roy |
