Public charging on the Continent help
I am driving to Northern Germany next week for work, via the Tunnel and am trying to work out how I can use some public charge points along the way. I appreciate its no Tesla that'll charge super-quick, but if I can grab a few more electric miles while I stop for coffee, so much the better.
Does anyone know how it works over there - do I need to sign up to a Ecotricity equivalent operator, or can I just Pay as I Go? While looking at the Plugshare map, it looks like I'd be better off planning my route to spend as much time in Holland as poss, as they appear to have a marked number more charging points than the Germans do. Appreciate any help offered. Rick |
