Default Has anyone got a T8 yet?

Mine is due at the dealers on the 20th of Jan but unfortunately due to the lease on my old car will not be with me until the 1st March. Just 2 months to go then.

Is there anyone else who has actually got hold of their T8 yet?

Similar date I think. It was sorted for before my holiday and that started mid August....

That is a bit surprising. My dealer told me the earliest build date when I ordered was going to be April. How come there is a 3-4 month differential between our delivery dates, even though we ordered only a few weeks apart?

I guess it depends on the dealer. I think mine had bought some build slots and he supplied my car from one of those slots. If yours hadnt bought t8 slots or if he had already sold them then your delivery would be later.

He has also told me that he has just two slots left for my16 but both are confirmed as rdesign ones. So i guess someone buying an r-design from him will get it quicker but anyone wanting another model will have a longer wait.

Mine you mine hasnt actually arrived yet so lets see....

Ordered mine last week of January 2015 and dealer is expecting it before the end of January this year as is Myvolvo. USA and quite a few countries in Europe already have them, so presumably waiting for a right hand drive batch to be built.

Most T8s built in 2015 went to countries with tax rules favouring it, like the Netherlands for instance, where a T8 delivered in 2015 is several (ten)thousands euros cheaper than one in 2016, and monthly tax costs are also substantially lower for the first owner.

Over a 5 year period it saves you 45000 euro's but not all T8's have been delivered in the Netherlands , so a few very unhappy owners there!

The one observation highlighted On the Dutch Volvo forum site for the T8's is , the lack of range due to the small fuel tank. Those travelling from NL to the wintersport are finding that they have to refuel more often.

Yes the small fuel tank on the V60 hybrid put me off buying that.
