Default Spark plug

I was changing my spark plugs, when one of them snapped during tightening, leaving me with the threads in the cylinder head, does anyone has a tip to release the plug?

does anyone have a single volvo spark plug compatible to 2005 T5 as they only come in packs of 5. I will pay the cost and postage

Thanks

Got a picture of what came out? If you sheared the plug during assembly there will be bits left in the head. Or do you mean that you have stripped the plug thread in the cylinder head, and the spark plug is not in two pieces?

Regarding the 'easy out' or screw extractor, numerous people claim to go for the square tapered edge ones for removing a spark plug, rather than the threaded edge. Not had to use them myself yet, but I have a set for that very occasion.

There are two different lengths of plug used in T5's, and a lot of confusion over which should be used in which year of cars. I personally think that 2.4 engines have the longer ones and 2.3 the shorter, but plenty of people disagree with me including the independent Volvo specialist who fitted the short ones to my 2.4.

Do not use a tapered easyout, you can get parallel easyouts and these are the ones to use. I would suggest you call in the professionals.
, they will know what they're doing.

Did it go tight as you were fitting it or did you over do it after you screwed it in ? .
Hopefully the second if so should get away without too much trouble .
large flat blade screwdriver with the edges ground to a sharp edge to bite into the broken part..
then a magnet to clean out any small bits that are on the piston.
Then use a torque wrench next time.
