LPG Gerry can?

Getting fed up with looking for petrol stations with LPG when I am running out on the motorway. Is there such a thing as an LPG Gerry can I can keep in the boot and refill it when necessary at the pump?

Not really no. It is possible to fit a second removable tank with a quick release, that is the nearest you can get but will cost a fair bit to install

Thanks Dai. Cheap and cheerful was what I was after so really not worth it.

I tend to start looking when I get to a quarter on the gauge - if you work on about 1 in 3 motorway garages stocking it, you'll be right.

Saying that when I drove to Aberdeen some months ago, I had to run for 80 miles on petrol as I couldn't find LPG - my wallet was devastated!

If you have a satnav, there's an app which can be loaded onto it so you can always find an LPG garage that's near by or on your route. I find it very useful. If you need the link let me know.

if you have an android phone, there is a free app called FillLPG which i use when roaming to strange places.

Not sure if its available on them fruit based phones.
