As mentioned by others it depends strongly on Weather. If I drive on a wet salted road in winter, I match a filling with the need to get new diesel. On the last dry summer I only used one or two fillings. This winter it is more like one or two every month. But I do 20 to 25 thousand miles a year...

I'm in a 1st Gen XC60 but at the moment seem to need to be filling my bottle up every 2 weeks with almost 5l of readymix fluid.

Admittedly I do spend most of the time running up & down the A1(M) & quite often cover 2k miles a month.

Seem to always be filling mine up, but the weather is horrible and the roads yuk...

I use the Volvo stuff, only stuff I've found that doesn't streak like mad!

If you only briefly pull the lever, the headlamp washers won't be activated.

It's like that on my MY19 XC90.

Hope this helps saving your washer liquid.

These use vastly more water than the windscreen wipers.

Thanks, I'll try that because as Quackers says, the headlamp wash uses lots of water...
