The Redex and premium diesel didn’t work. In fact it’s getting worse. I’m going to take the EGR off and give it a clean. Can I take the injectors out and clean them. If so what with.

C30 2.0D - Abrupt engine shake turning off
Hi Folks,
New to forum - so hope this is posted in right section etc. This thread seemed similar to the issues I have had with my C30. It’s a 2.0 diesel with Powershift box, had it a few years now - on 90000 miles. Think this is the Peugeot engine. Without DPF additive tank etc. Had some issues with the DPF sensor - which was replaced last year, and DPF cleaned by local garage. However; I have recently experienced issues with the engine running poorly under acceleration... almost like it is “dithering” between 30-50 mph. But also more noticeably on turning off the engine it “shakes” abruptly after turning off ignition. Not smoothly turning off - the engine rattles/shakes. It starts fine, and idles fine - just shudders on turn off. Recently had it serviced by a “specialist”, who ran some diagnostics - nothing arose apart from a historic EGR message. So had new fuel filter and Powershift transmission service etc. The throttle body was cleaned/piping into it as well on the service, but still an issue after with the “shuddering” and “dithering” acceleration. Also recently noticed a slightly “gassy” smell in the car occasionally. Anyone got an idea on this? |

If that does not do the trick then you may have to get a leak off test done on them. |
