my emissions check symbol came on , i do a lot of short journeys
where is the dpf and can i change it or clean it

What makes you think this is a DPF problem?

Do you have a way of reading DPF soot level? ELM327 and suitable phone app will do it dead cheaply.

If it’s DPF give it a run down the motorway and back, should clear itself if all else is well.

What car, engine and mileage are we talking about?
