Default Which Cabin Filter

I have a 2005 S40 with climate control.

Which cabin/pollen filter should I be fitting to it, as one is 'normal' and the other has something to do with carbon I think?

Thanks a lot

If you have ECC you need the Multi Filter Charcoal one.

There is a possible 4 filters to choose from depending on the chassis number.

(PART NO 1 ???) Normal Pollen filter from chassis number 000001 to xxxxxx

(PART NO 2 ???) Normal Pollen filter from chassis number xxxxxx to current

(PART NO 3 ???) Multi Filter (Charcoal) from 000001 to xxxxxxx

(PART NO 4 ???) Multi filter (Charcoal) from xxxxxx to current.

Sorry not got VIDA with me to say the exact chassis numbers.

Have a look at this LINKY!

See post #504 from Rufe - give them guys a call quote 'C3' and have your chassis number available. They will sort you out with the right part (genuine volvo) for a good price.

They are a bit of a pig to fit though!
