Is this offer still running, need to check an airbag light on my S60. Only downside is live in huddersfield so will be Harrats, but shouldn't do much harm if only diagnostics

A friend bought a car from Harratts, and still doesn't drive in a straight line, despite going back twice. In the end he decided to put up with it, but it made up my mind about buying top-dollar cars from dealers...
cheers James

Its a shame that the majority spoil it for the ones that are actually good. If my cars have to visit a dealer, Like many I do my own repairs servicing ect and if the job is out of my capability it goes to the dealer because I like the idea of a professional guy who knows the cars inside out working on mine, I don't use any other garages but any how I have used 2 main dealer and could not fault them in any way. The first I used a lot who were Lloyd Volvo in Carlisle, they couldn't be better with the standard of repairs, condition of the car afterwards and the service I received and the same goes for mill Volvo in Knaresborough. So there are good dealers out there but I think its rare!

I agree there 😜 there is but slightly out of my area is the alternate dealer but I'm willing to go it's about 50 miles away .I always repair my own and everyone elses who does knows me for my knowledge with cars I've yrs of experience as I'm a mechanical fitter myself but don't work in dealerships .I really have no idea why they have treat me like muppet, I'm not been picky at all with the faults that's needed I addressed it on the test drive that there problems it's been looked over by numerous garages also who are very good technicals and its obvious if they in did an inspection , every time it's gone in its been left outside workshop till 5pm they don't do inspections properly I've even tried to help them and save them the inspection time by drafting up the faults/symphoms on A paper so they could go straight to components and see for themselves .All this is because I would take out PCP finance with them I can't work on cars now because I broke my back on a motorcycle 9 yrs ago that why I bought volvo incase I have an accident it could save me from never walking again because its still has fractures so thanks Harratts volvo because I know you are watching this thread ,thank you for selling me a faulty car

I wish Volvo HQ would look a lot closer to the Selekt system, as it seems dealers are not selling a product , which is a premium product. There is an increasing amount of owners who seem to be suffering this of late, myself included. Personally I cannot ever see myself buying a select vehicle again from a Volvo dealer. Seems that the Volvo franchise is not actually something that proudly wave the Volvo banner. Just flog cars and hope they don't fall to bits is the way I think they work. I wouldn't touch the latest dealer, I had to have the misfortune of giving money to ever again. Rather walk, than get them fix my car, which is not the way Volvo would 'like' their cars to be sold. Frustrating as it is, I don't think Volvo actually care currently.

If you've got a good case with all your facts straight (as it sounds like you have) go via small claims court or get a solicitor involved. The downside of putting your version of events on a public forum is that it opens you up for them to make the first move and start a libel action against you. They've probably got more to lose so will have deeper pockets when it comes to getting their lawyers on the case.
