come on guys lets make the new date and put the southwest back on the map!!!
Would you like to organise this one? I think it would be good if we can give the opportunity or facilitate for members to organise events if they so wish, it does go without saying that its purely voluntary. What do you guys reckon?

Well Tigger is the man to get advice from as he is an administrator on another forum and from what I have seen helps out alot.

The pub that Tigger suggested seems a good location and does good food so I would go along with that.

I don't see any reason why they could not be invited in fact we should be trying to keep the south west section open.

Thanks for the vote of confidence there St5ve

The pub in Axminster is good and the publican's happy to help out, which is always good!

Can we get our friendly moderator to keep the list of people coming up-to-date on the first post on the thread? The longer the list is, the happier people usually seem to join in

Forgive my ignorance, but who are "driver and the wares" South West Section?

Tigger.

Tigger.
driver is the volvo club magazine and the wares are the original southwest organisers.

i've contacted the Wares and spoke to George, the southwest section is offically closed, but i/we have had the thier blessing to continue.

George is going to contact the others i.e Dennis Le worthy etc to let him know about our meeting at axminster i also invited the Wares.

maybe if this kicks off succesfully we could contact the directors and appoint someone?

All sounds very good and hopeful, I only wish we could have done something sooner to keep the section going especialy with all the work the Wares have put in.
