Volvo C30 2.0 Petrol Brake Disc and Pads replacement
Hi everyone!
I'm a new member and desperately need your advice. I have Volvo C 30 2007 2.0 petrol and I need to replace braking discs and pads and there's so many on the market. Everyone I asked advising something else. Which one you suggest I should buy? Do You know maybe which brand was originally fitted in C30? Thank You so much for your help |

Try your local Volvo dealer first, some offering decent discounts, if still too pricey try Eurocarparts or GSF, pick a brand with a known reputation.

Thank You very much Parisien
I emailed local dealer today and he wasn't very helpful. He only gave me spec numbers and when I checked every part was from different manufacturer..I think he gave me only available options. I was hoping for more specific advice. From my recent research I know that everyone has got different opinion but names like TEXTAR,ATE and TRW is the most popular answer. What do You have in Your rides? |

I personally use pagid gear , it's fitted to my V70 , sprinter van . corsa & many customers . No problems encountered , if i am remembering acurately pagid supply braking to porsche for their racing series , along with other prestige marques
Your money spend it as you see fit

Pagid's quality dropped a few years back (when Eurocarparts bought them).
Personally, for brake discs, I just get Brembo's and Brembo Max from Eurocarparts/Carpart4Less. Perfect quality and sensible price. Pads, just get anything reputable as the more modern Volvo's like yours are less fussy than the old ones. ATE also do good quality kit but, you may need to go to Autodoc.co.uk to get them. Regards

Big Thank You to all who replied
I'm using Pagit brake pads and they're ok but a bit messy on alloys so I probably test something different now. My first thought was on OEM Volvo set but I'm having trouble to find out what brand was fitted in my C30 ... I'm going to Poland for Christmas and I have good mechanic there I'll see what he'll advise. I probably fix everything there as is much cheaper I'm still interested in your advice so please post any if You have some info Thx again |
