Invoices between 1973 - 1987

I am looking to locate old Volvo Sales invoices with VAT numbers for the Linn Motor Group in Glasgow, Scotland. Linn Motor Group also traded as the Paisley Motor Company and Craig & Pearson Limited.

Can anyone help ?

They also traded in Edinburgh. I may have an old invoice somewhere in my old car files if this would be of any help.

If it is of help I know the address for Linn (Edinburgh) was
38 Seafield Road East
Edinburgh
EH15 1ER

They were taken over by Abercrombie.

But I have to ask - why "old Volvo Sales invoices with VAT numbers"?

I did have a rake through what I had at the time but found none. The only car that I had that was in with them has now long sinc been scrapped and the documents have been trashed.

If you have a name and address, will the Customs & Excise not be able (or willing) to help?
