Im interested to know if there is any one that has experience of converting a 9 series to run with ford 302 engine and auto transmission or similar . I know the 3 litre 6 cylinder is available and probably fast enough , but this is about the sound and having somthing a bit different (not the speed )and safety .Any help would be appreciated .

Have a look at http://www.converseengineering.com/ they are the gods of the Volvo V8 conversion!!!
