If I wanted a V50 T5 with 95k miles and upwards there's been a handful of quite nice ones. And for some reason C30/S40/V50 T5s are generally very low spec.
I am trying to avoid going German if I can as I was never impressed with anything from the VAG range to be honest.

Spotted this on AutoTrader..... Manual T5 V50 R-design and seemingly top spec.
I can see from the pics it has the DynAudio premium stereo and Satnav, and Xenon headlamps.

I think you will struggle to find a better spec one than that.
Yes I have seen this one decent spec but I must admit the colour does nothing for me.

If I had my own way I would be looking at a V70 R but I know the Missus would moan to high heaven.

It's a tough colour to love. I know the grille can be changed but the aftermarket one on that does nothing for me.

Interesting that the seller calls teh vehicle "fast an economical".
Economical would be the very last word I'd chose to describe this car.
I mainly did longer journeys in my C30 T5. I averaged 31.6mpg without trying to be frugal, so it was 'relatively' good! I did once get 44mpg but that was doing 55mph on a motorway with the space saver on!

The colour makes the car look dull and non-interesting, and like you the I think the badge less grill looks terrible.

I think that colour is 'ok' - kinda Doom Blue, I don't think you'd pick it out from a choice of others.

The grille is alright but does look weird without a Volvo Emblem - I guess that was the owners attempt at replacing the silver V50 grille which, to be honest, isn't as nice as the S40's Egg Crate design.

This thread is making me wonder if my pristine S40 is worth more than I thought!

S40's handle better, all the V50's under-steered into a field years ago
