It may sound daunting but it really is easy to get the bumper cover off 5 or 6 minutes once you know where the screws and clips are ...

As the light washer is lower than the upper part of the fluid tank, leak will occur when fluid tank is full, untill fluid level reaches the washer height (communicating vessels).
I just lack courage to pull my front bumper and I'm ok with a tank full to 1/3 only. |

See installation instructions for Parking Assist, which involves, taking the bumper off, for anyone interested. (Bumper stuff starts at item 23)
It does look relatively straight forward, as Clan has suggested, although there does appear to be a few more steps. However, like Megastef, I'm not sure I'm confident enough in car maintenance to attempt. https://accessories.volvocars.com/In...1/DRIVe/Manual I also notice that on item 26 the washer fluid reserve is accessed from the wheel arch after the liner is removed, so this might give enough access depending on where the leak is, and perhaps be less daunting. This seems to be a common problem. I had it with mine just after it was 1 year old. Fortunately dealer fixed it under warranty. Obviously not a great design for it to come off in the first place. Not sure how old your vehicle is or who services it but might be worth going back to Volvo and having a moan!

To be fair the link is a year and a half old. Try this. Slightly different and bumper stuff starts a little later, but still appears to be there.
https://accessories.volvocars.com/en...1/DRIVe/Manual Alternatively, just go the main website, select your country, and then car, and then pick the relevant section. https://accessories.volvocars.com/ |
