Noooooooooo, "Ausfahrt" is the secret door to Bielefeld!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bielefeld_Conspiracy

Only people with a very specific mindset are able to see the entrance (to the QAnon HQ)

Default Same supplier ?

I have the same Client No for 4 suppliers

1). autodoc.co.uk

2) bestpartstore.co.uk

3) buycarparts.co.uk

4) onlinecarparts.co.uk

I guess they are really the same company-- 3 London telephone numbers for the 4 suppliers

Have got parts from autodoc in the past with no problems

Jude

Nothing to do with Autodoc, but we've been sending monthly parcels to our daughter, who lives in South Korea, for several years.

A couple of weeks ago, I took the latest parcel to our local post office, to be informed that because of Brexit the Customs declaration label that we've been using previously is no longer acceptable, and so I had to complete a new version, now roughly three times as long.

I wasn't aware that South Korea was in the EU, but the notice in the post office does say that the new form must be completed for all parcels leaving the UK.

Anyway, checked the tracking information this morning as our daughter says she hasn't received it yet. Apparently its arrived...

in South Africa

It isn't, but the legal agreements between South Korea and the EU, that allow for easier shipping, are not valid for the UK anymore. You're doing your own stuff now, and as long as there are no further agreements between South Korea and the UK, this will get more complicated...

Makes sense, that hadn't occurred to me. Even before Brexit though, it was far easier for her to order goods from the US than the UK.

Still doesn't explain how RM sent it to S. Africa though!

What's in a hyphen?

I've used auto-doc.fr for a few parts now and not had a problem.

Ah but you're in France, ordering from a French website!

I'm guessing you've been one of the lucky ones and the "French" web domain is another ruse, just as it is for us with ".co.uk".

I find it quite interesting how global all things seem to be, but shipping goods as a non-professional still is like being Rockefeller in the 18th century...

I've been trying for two months now to send a package to the US. Got it back the first time after three weeks....I forgot to put the invoice for the _present_ in the box... And because of Corona there is an additional fee of EUR 17.-, makes it all together with the regular shipping costs around EUR 60.-...

If it wouldn't be a LEGO collectable for a very good friend, I'd let it be...

Not a big deal if they dont as
I am glad I ordered them again from elsewhere as a precaution, i will never use Autodoc again, just wish i had realised where they were in the 1st place lol
just a little rant/enquiry to those of you who use autodoc for bits. I got sick of ECP and the like with their daft "offers". Started using Autodoc last year

...but it seems they've joined the wacky price brigade. I've been building a basket of mostly hard to get bits for a couple of cars, but the prices are different every time I look. Perhaps it's always been like this and I just never noticed. I normally just order the parts and get it done, but I've been adding bits to the basket for a week or so...for example

Brake discs for the daily
added to basket £25 each
£30 at the weekend
now £36??
Is there anywhere left that we can get parts from with stable pricing? Where did this business model come from? Anyone else fed up of it?

Delete the items from your basket, delete the cookies from your browser and try again, the prices will most likely drop down again
