No Idea but he normally changes his car when its 5 years old so he may never cross that bridge.

I can just imagine it now....

Have you been misold TDI? You may be eligible for compensation. German motor manufacturers have set aside billions in anticipation. Call now on 0800 80110CK5 and speak to one of our trained specialists now! Can you afford not to?

Eh? No he wasn't.

Plenty of people got collared before LA even went on OW to confess. And if you look at the ascent times for the key mountain stages over the last few years you'll see that there's virtually no difference. In some instances they are riding faster now.

Nutrition, training and technology have all improved massively since the US Postal years, but some GC riders are all still doping IMHO. Micro-dosing and the use of new, as yet undetected, PEDs still goes on.

I take your point and you clearly know cycling better than me - but as you said training, nutrition and technology have changed beyond recognition but in most cases the times are the same as 10 years ago....

All I was trying to say is that due to sales pressure etc.etc. VW are likely not to be the only people that have done something they shouldn't have.

Very good...lol...

That ppi advert is so annoying, even more so since they changed the catchprase from ''not interested?'' to ''can you afford not to''...and then there is that ''have I got ppi''...so that will be changed to ''have I got tdi''..!!

Regards
