The rustbuster epoxy mastic is good stuff, I used it on my 360 restoration, but it does need a very clean and slightly rough surface, otherwise it does flake/chip off.
I use zinc paint (zinga) then epoxy mastic, then underseal over the top. The factory 940 stuff is also very good, I hope you didn't remove the galvanisation layer. The 940 underseal is a semi solid very hard to remove, but you do get rust eventually. |

Certainly didn't remove the galvanisation area as I only used a scraper and a hot air gun to get rid of the old stuff also where the original underseal was good I didn't touch it..
Just basically got rid of the loose old crap and then went straight over with the epoxy.. I also used a paint brush where possible as I didn't want to thin the epoxy paint as it works much better when brushed on ... On the axle etc I used a needle gun to get off the rust and then painted it straight on ... |

Gorgeous car. Lovely to see another 940 in Tropic Green Metallic, my car is all stock but otherwise identical to yours. I love my 940...quite possibly my favourite car I've ever owned.

nah mate, held on to it in the end....should be over 300bhp in a couple of months! i have to see it through....Blackberry Pearl is by far the best colour for these! People ask me if i have had it painted all the time, they can't believe it's a factory colour! i bloody wish i had held on to my 180SX!
