cheers guys , so looking at the diagram , its a very simple system , no magical black boxes of electronic bits and bobs ..... interesting to see it goes thru 3 fuses .... I will get a new relay as that is the only thing I haven't looked at ....
good luck to me !!!!

so , now the heater blower has kinda stopped all togeather , replaced the reisitor as well , no luck ..... but , and this could be a red herring , if you have the rear demistor on , and the fan set to 1, 2,3 or 4 and turn on the AC nothing happens with the AC or the fan , but if you turn off the rear demistor , the fan suddenly kicks into life and the AC turns on .... wtf ?
because the AC wont come on till the fan is running , but what is the rear demistor got to do with any of it ? ..... is it just just coincidence?
now baffled as ***

I'd be surprised if it's coincidence, sounds like a combination of dodgy switch contacts and something faulty on the climate control module PCB. 2nd hand panels aren't that expensive over here, not sure about postage to NZ though.

manual ac , no climate control .... looking at the schematic provided , cant see what would go to the ac control to make it run with the fan ....

Sorry, didn't realise it was Phase 1. Check the wiring, there may be a short or chafed wires touching somewhere.

Recently had windsreen replaced due to a bonding issue but the water must have got into the interior heater fan as it only blows slightly on maximum. This is hopefully just the resistor?, if you have any information on how to replace i would appreciate it.
