Default XC70 - interior accessory queries

Hi,

Traded the old S60 for an 08MY XC70 which I like very much, but going through various bits of the interior, I've noticed a couple of clips, one on either side of the car, they sit adjacent to the rear passenger grab handles in the roof lining, and look like they might accept some sort of partition type accessory, much like the rear fold down metal guard, or alternatively, just a hook for a suit or something. There's nothing I can see which would fit on these mounting points within the accessory catalog however.

Also, I note there are small green LED lights (one each) within the front and rear interior light clusters which appear to do nothing functional (i.e it doesn't appear to light up the buttons on these clusters), are these just to confirm power is being received or do they have some other function ?

You are correct that the clips adjacent to the rear grab handles take the fold-down luggage/dog guard or a nylon net. I have the luggage guard myself. It can also be fitted further forward if the rear seat is folded flat.

I don't know about the green LEDs - I'll have a look when I get home.

The two green LED's are for ambient lighting. I have found that they do not light up the intended areas that well.

Cheers, did wonder that but I've not really had proper winter type darkness to try it out in at the moment.
