It's about 5" or 6" long, maybe 1.5" diameter.

Mine only leaked during the filling of petrol; and the fuel dribbled down either side of the o/s rear suspension.

Anyway...PTA Garage, they had the car once, for the day, as they diagnosed what it was. No charge for this.

Once they had the (Volvo supplied) replacement pipe in their hands, they had the car for a half day to do the job. Took them 90 mins apparently.

Ah...I just thought. Mine is a Bi-fuel V70...so the (much smaller) petrol tank is in a different place than a regular petrol V70.

Maybe that made it easier, maybe not?

FWIW...I was glad to be nowhere nearby as they somehow removed and replaced the rusted on bolts that hold on the guard plate that protects the LPG tank!
Doesn't sound as the same bit that's damaged in mine.

I need that rubber thing on photo above replaced.

The only, and quite possibly silly, inconsiderate, irresponsible even idea..

Maybe this year I could afford to get that xc..

In which case there wouldn't be much point in pumping money and parts into one that will most probably end up in scrap (hard to imagine that someone would buy it, with this age and miles on it)

Its about a glass spilled per 70 litres pumped into tank, not really safe, no..

But.. Shall I hurry fixing it?
