Default Broken Chrome Door Handle

Mine broke two years ago used a bit if stainless steel bar probably 2mm in diameter shaped it to fit in the grove (see photo) then filled it with JB Weld still working well
The job of removing and refitting the door handle is very fiddly but not rocket science.

Nope, chrome handles are the worst. Just get a replacement black one. I've gone through three chrome ones and have finally given up. Easiest just to replace but there is thread somewhere on here describing how you can simply drill through the front of the handle and reconnect the lever with the handle using a screw and some glue. It will hold but not sure how long.
