GPS Symbol? S90 sat nav issues

Does/should the GPS symbol (triangle) stay permanently on?

Mine doesn't, it is rarely on, especially when the car is lost. Varying different distances from 1.2 miles to nearly 280 miles out. Road signs incorrect, can't use speed limiter unless I manually set it.

After weeks of it being lost it corrects itself, never for long!

After many sat nav issues and the dealer doing reset/software/Sweden assisting the cars going back to the dealers again this week.

2018 s90 inscription.

Time set to gps, map updated, internet connected.

Maybe should be in technical?

Really like the car, shame some functions aren't useable from the above issue.

Update!

New GPS arial in roof. Fixed issue. Car is never lost now.
The triangle symbol is always there now.

Dealers couldn't have been better, Sunderland service department.
