Default V40 T4 judder/inconsistent tick over

Hi all,

I have a 2002 V40 T4, has run well but last few months on startup (hot and cold) it idles rough and sometimes stalls, however when the engine has done a couple of hundred yards it's fine. Also, under heavy acceleration or heavy load there is judder between 3000-4000-ish revs. If i accelerate slowly under normal driving, say on a motorway then no problems at all. When this first happened, no dash lights but now Engine light. It hasnt got any worse.

I have tried a new MAF sensor but no good, now about to try a new turbo boost valve.. does anybody know if this is the right route?

Thanks!!
