OK I'll look at that once the car has been looked at next weekend. Any links to BSR as my old VAG lot have mentioned SuperChips

My T5 is a snail compared to my old Leon Cupra and returning about 10 mpg with a light foot around town. Cambridge Volvo have said something isn't right and are checking it over.

Much more than the muppets at Pillings have ever done

Also need to order an IPD anti roll bar and go from there.

maybe not as zesty in the top end as the Leon.. but it shouldn't feel 'slow' and 10mpg is deffo a bit off.

New MAF needed maybe?

Get yourself the IPD rollbar, strut brace, and braided brake lines - will feel like a new car.

I've also got B8 Bilstein shocks, and Eibach springs - corners like a... corner beast

MTE or RICA is probably the way to go - I wouldn't recommend BSR due to their terrible attitude to customers.

Certainly don't want to deal with a company with crap customer service!

Looked at RICA too.

MAF, very valid point, hopefully it'll all be diagnosed and fixed. Got a few other issues to be sorted too. With current MPG stats I'm starting to think I should have an Audi S4 instead (few more ££)!

Shame Revo don't do Volvo or Miltek!

I had Koni shocks and Eibach springs on my Cupra.

Stock cupra has slightly better acceleraton top end. T5 shouldnt be feeling slow though.... Remap and I'd expect a transformation.

Ah, I thought you had the Cupra R. Your T5 must be broken.

A stock cupra 1.8 20vt should be taking 21's to get to 100mph.
A Stock T5 is doing it in 17's.

As Fenton says...

... something wrong with your car.. even stock it shouldn't feel 'slow' as has plenty of mid-range.

MAF checked and maybe replaced - esp if you have a cone filter, rough tickover is a giveaway for that too.

get it on the dyno too... if you're not sure, that'll give you an 'at the wheels' power output - stock should have in the order of 170 at the wheels (for a manual 2wd)

Default Mte

Another vote for MTE here, Don @ Kalmar Union is an absolute gent to deal with, and he also stocks the IPD roll bars. I have the stage 1 tune on mine, and will soon be going back for the stage 2 with downpipe (after my bell intercooler arrives)
