I bet you won’t make that mistake again. It’s often the silly little things that seem straightforward when you are actually doing something more serious (ie: fitting the wing) that cause problems because of a moments inattention. We’ve all done it at one time or another. Suggest you lube the wiper spindles/shafts whilst arms are off.

Hi,
My expansion tank level goes from half way between min and max when cold to near max when hot. Key thing is that the level stays the same for whatever temperature the engine is at. Cheers, LeeP |

Although under the same roof as Sentinel, the parts company that Steve manages supplies older Volvo owners and is called Trust Car Parts. Sentinel itself will service older Volvos at a reduced rate, and you won't find better help for your 940 in London. |

I often buy parts from Skandix. https://www.skandix.de/en/ They often give a choice between a genuine Volvo part (expensive) or a compatible non-Volvo part (less expensive).
If I am not sure whether a part is correct I contact them with the car's VIN and they have always promptly either confirmed that the part is correct for my car or else corrected my error. |
